Aubrey, 37, and his wife Claire, 34, live in a converted shipping container home. At first, it was just a temporary home.
But three years later, they still live here. The 40-foot-long (about 12 meters) container house has become their sweet home.
They were originally living in London, but the rising cost of housing in the capital made them "frustrated" and decided to move back to Aubrey's home in Hay-on-Wye. His family has a farm here.
Aubrey had long hoped to convert large shipping containers from ocean freighters into a home. He says large containers like these are found all over the world.
So they bought two containers from a factory in Liverpool that had been converted into homes.
They put the container house on the farm. Their canoeing and outdoor activities business is nearby.
They spent a total of £30,000 to create the container home.
Claire says their container home is very comfortable, and she would be happy to continue living there if she didn't finally have a new home of her own.
Claire also says that there are advantages to having less space, forcing you to keep your room clean by not accumulating clutter.
But Clare warns anyone looking to make a container their home to consider some of the planning restrictions and regulations around container construction.
Now the couple, who will soon be moving into their new permanent home, plan to sell their container home.
I've grown attached to it for years, and I'm a little sad to sell it. But Claire said, "Hopefully it can be used to give someone else a home."
